Wow, I can't believe it's been 3 days since we last updated this site! I guess time flies when you're having fun!!! On Monday, Caitlin had her evaluation with her PT and then had to be at the dialysis center by 2 to fill out paperwork then have a treatment. We didn't get home until almost 7:30 - stopped by Grammy's house because she had baked Caitlin some of her special cupcakes. It was a long day and I couldn't tell who was more worn out, her or me. On Tuesday, the PT came back in the morning to start his therapy to help with her mobility. Then, because he told her she needed to get out and about more, we took a drive to Murfreesboro to see Ryan and take him his Easter basket that he also found virtually. We got home at about 4 in the afternoon, she took pain meds and crashed for a few hours while I went to the store to pick up some much needed items to aid in her recovery. I got home by 8 p.m. or so, just about the time Caitlin was stirring. She seems to be sleeping better at night since returning home from the hospital, I'm still on a hospital schedule and can't seem to get any sleep. Today we have a quiet morning then have to leave for dialysis by 2 or so this afternoon. Tomorrow, Caitlin has PT in the morning then an MD appointment at 1:30 p.m. and on Friday she has PT in the late morning and we leave for dialysis by 2 for her appointment there. Whew, it makes me tired just thinking about it!!! All in all, Caitlin's recovery is nothing short of a miracle and everything leading up to her full recovery is minor and very welcome considering the alternative. Again, thank you for your words of encouragement, love, support, and hugs, as now we are out and about here in the City of Fairview. I believe in the power of prayer and know that Caitlin continues down the path to a full recovery, thanks to the continued prayers from folks all over the world. Chris

No news is good news. But a little news of "minor" improvements toward recovery is even better.
Praising God for answered prayer and asking for a little more...Denise Claggett
We are so grateful for the healing that You have brought to Caitlin. Thankyou, Father, for all the medical staff and the care they provided. Now that she is home, and much of her progress is up to her, will You give her encouragement with measurable improvement? Strengthen her determination and banish discouragement along with depression. Enable her family to keep up with the schedule and find rest when they need it. Father God, You love with an everlasting love. Will You make that love unmistakably tangible so that when she is fully recovered her memories of these days are filled with joy. And so that Caitlin and her family will praise Your name? Let Caitlin come to know You as Jehovah Rapha (The Lord who heals---completely.) I ask this in the Name of the One by whose stripes we are healed: Jesus.
Dear Caitlin,
Seriously...you are the girl on the move (thanks to your Mom). Two and half weeks later and you are receiving PT and visiting your brother at MTSU. I'm sure it was wonderful seeing campus and just pumped you up for your return to MTSU...I know they are missing you!!! Please keep your recovery strong and you'll be there soon!!!
Love you lots,
xoxo
